Jatamansi (Indian Valerian root) Rasayana may promote awareness, relaxation, and support the brain. It may also soothe the muscles, menstrual discomfort and support the female reproduction system and physical balance.
When we have sleep issues it usally stems from a vata imbalnce. To much cold air. Things that can aggravate our sleep is, eatting before bed, lack of fresh air, excessive cold foods. Try having a warm bath befoire bed, eatting a whole foods cooked meal (avoid nightshades) at least four hours before bed. Then we recommned making a nice tea out of our sleep deep 30 min before rest.
In addition, the following Essential Oils can be used in an essential oil diffuser for added support: Jatamansi, Neroli, Valerian, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Vetiver. Jatamamsi Rasayana is in the form of a "food jam" consisting of herbs and spices in a base of honey, rice syrup, and ghee.
Instructions: Eat directly from the jar or dissolve 1 level teaspoon per 50 lbs. of body weight in a cup of warm to hot water and take 30 min. before bedtime. Avoid eating anything later than 3 hours before bedtime for best results.
