Support Skin Complexion

The skin is the body's largest organ, serving as a protective barrier between the internal body and the external environment. It consists of three main layers: the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. The outer layer, the epidermis, provides a waterproof shield and contains cells that produce melanin, which gives skin its color. The dermis, located beneath the epidermis, houses sweat glands, hair follicles, blood vessels, and nerve endings, contributing to temperature regulation, sensation, and nutrient delivery. The subcutaneous layer, composed of fat and connective tissue, provides insulation and cushioning for the body. The skin not only protects against environmental hazards like pathogens, UV radiation, and physical injuries but also plays a vital role in regulating body temperature, excreting waste through sweat, and synthesizing vitamin D. Its ability to repair itself after injury ensures ongoing protection and contributes to overall health and well-being.
