This Kapha Masala is made from a selection of herbs and spices, which have a spicy and stimulating effect on the Body and Mind. Spices have very therapeutic properties, and enhance the flavor of any meal. Using the proper spices and herbs in your cooking according to your constitution can help to balance your body, mind and spirit. Kapha Spice Masala contains 21 different spices, herbs, and natural flavors that are spicy and mildly hot for Kapha body types.

Kitchari is a meal preparation commonly used in therapeutic practice in panchakarma, a detoxing program. PANCHA (five) Karma (procedures). Kitchari helps to remove excess Dosha imbalances from the body.

The word kitchari means “mixture” it consist of a mixture of rice, beans, and herbs cooked in ghee. The most beneficial rice and bean is basmati and mung bean. It is highly suggested to sprout your mung beans first before cooking. This allows the lectins to be significantly reduced. Mung beans are anti-inflammatory, hypo-allergenic and do not cause gas.
